How It Started
Racket Tek was founded for several key reasons. Customer service and convenience are the most important. In the world of tennis racquets and strings there is no shortage of options for consumers to choose from. However, with the rise of online sales and information the customer service aspect has fallen to the wayside. Knowing your clients personally and evaluating their tennis playing style helps Racket Tek be your personal advisor. We also believe that your time is extremely important, that’s why we built our business model to be as convenient for clients as possible. We have 24 hour turnaround stringing for your racquet. Our goal is to accommodate our clients as if they are touring professional and take care of their equipment just the same.
Meet The Owner
Matthew Davies

I've had the pleasure of playing this great sport since I was 8 years old. I grew up in Portland, Oregon and played out of the Vancouver Tennis Center. I actively played junior tournaments and varsity high school tennis. I've been a USPTR Certified Instructor and have taught privately for over a decade. I moved to the beautiful state of Colorado in 2010 and continued to play in several USTA leagues ever since. I’m currently a NTRP 5.0 player and strive to improve my game every time I take the court. I have a technical skills back ground so when I took up stringing 13 years ago, it came very natural to me. I love the details of stringing racquets and I am always tweaking my string and racquet weight setup to maximize my game.
